National Mission Meeting in Gujarat a big success!

The Sixth National Mission Meeting on Conservation of Sharks went on well and we the participants were more than what we have expected. All of them were actively involved in each and every events in the agenda. We will prepared the detailed report soon. In the meantime, here are some of the photographs from the meeting.

The sixth NMCSI meeting is planned for June 17 at Gujarat

The National Mission for Conservation of Sharks India has continued to host meetings with fishers, traders, scientists, civil society groups and other individuals around the country. So far meetings have been held in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.

The sixth meeting is now tentatively scheduled for 17 June 2015 at Veralval. The venue and other details will be informed later.

ADSGAF continues to demo solar-powered refrigeration truck

This is the third programme in the series of organizing Demonstration on Solar Powered Refrigerated
Truck for the Transportation of Fresh Fish. This one day demonstration was organized by the IEEE
Young Professional-Madras Section and Artisanal Deep Sea Fishers IEEE SIGHT, Madras Section
(Approval Pending) at St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering at Chunkankadai, Nagercoil,
Kanyakumari District on 27th January 2015.
